My Theory for Forced Rapport

My life is now exactly how i want it….to be constantly interacting with new people day and night (more sleep would be nice but i have adapted). Also because i am so busy it means i barely use my phone to call girls or text them, the women in my life are the ones i see physically in front of me. I have started to believe that we live in 3 different worlds; In Our Mind, Through Our Eyes and Through Technology. It is ok to use each of them but Through Our Eyes should be the predominent one. So yeah as i was saying….i am constantly interacting all the time, meaning i have discovered a few interesting things which i am putting to good use and seeing the results. One is something i have named as Forced Rapport.

Basically….throughtout my days i talk to alot of girls standing up….and whenever i am talking to people in general i always match body gestures and movements to create some rapport. One thing i noticed over the past few weeks is that a hell of alot of girls that i have been meeting and speaking to cross their legs when they are standing. So i would always match this casually and naturally. I notice all my movements unconsciously, i know what i am doing and can change what i am doing to get to what i want. So if i keep doing something i will notice it, so i kept noticing how i was always crossing my legs to match the movement alot of girls were making.

This led me to an idea…..if i want to create rapport with girls i have just met and…if the average girl i am speaking to crosses her legs when standing and talking….then what would happen if i cross my legs before she does? This can get complex….for starters one thing can happen….she will follow my movement and cross hers as well, therefore forcing the rapport. However….she may not follow the movement, but then this leads to confusion in her thought processes….. Because If she doesnt follow the movement then it means she is not just trying to not build rapport, but in doing so she is also stopping herself from making a body movement she usually makes, therefore changing her behaviour. Which then leads to another thought that if she does follow my movement…will her brain see that as trying to unconsciously create rapport or will it see it as her making a body movement she usually makes? As well…..we could then extend this thought and say that….what if i was to verbally say something that was negative towards her AND THEN make the body movement, would she follow then? (she may follow as she see’s me do it and it reminds her brain that she usually does it so she then does it) It then leads to a thought that would i have to verbally say something to create the stimulus for her to follow my leg movement?

This whole idea really made me think about how we can force rapport or force a connection between two people, based solely on knowing a common trait that the person in front of us is likely to do. For example i noticed the leg crossing, but there could be loads of other common things that girls and people commonly like or do; certain foods and films, music, clothes, anything. This touches on cold reading slightly, but in the use of creating a connection with someone instead of creating interest and intrigue.

Anyway, what i’ll do over the next week or so is test out a few of these ‘Forced Rapport’ ideas and get back to you guys.

Its been fun.

Keep it real.

StereoMood

Hey guys,

Just want to share a great new site a girl im friends with showed meeeeeee.

Stereomood is simply a site where you can play playlists of songs that match your current mood. The main page reads;

“behind every song there’s always an emotion. we don’t know why but maybe that’s why we love music.

so we’ve created a way to suggest songs that follow your feelings: stereomood is the emotional internet radio, providing music that best suits your mood and your activities.”

I fell in love with this site as soon as i started clicking away on the moods and then listening to the songs that came up, hell me, Sarah and Alex are all sitting in my lounge now listening to the Energetic playlist on my laptop right now!

Before i had an epiphany ( as i always do when im on the toilet !) as well….the site gets you to play playlists of songs that match your current mood…..but what you could also do is think of a mood you want to be in and then play that playlist. For example if you are sad you could play the happy playlist. Or this will help alot of you reading….if you are finding it hard to get to sleep….play the sleepy playlist.

Moods simply represent states you are in, what state you are in is simply dependent on things like your physiology, mental thinking and any external stimulus’s. Things like music can change your whole state.

So basically….use this site well and you could be in some positive states more often
